Grand Canyon

On our way to Grand Canyon we stopped at Hover Dam, serving as water supply for this big city Las Vegas in the middle of the desert.
It was hot, really hot (or at least I thought it was incredible hot, but I hadn't experienced the desert yet), even the wind was hot.


Grand Canyon was an amazing experience, you could nearly feel the power of nature – how can a tiny river you hardly can see somewhere down in the canyon create such a canyon?

Even if it was chilly, rainy and foggy and the sight was bad, it was really impressing and an experience I will never forget. I hope to come back one day and have enough time to hike down into the canyon…..
